This sounded a hoax because if you are keen enough to notice on the login page of Facebook you’ll see “It’s free and always will be.“ And if will be true Mark Zuckerberg has wrote an announcement first.  But were kinda positive that this will not happen. August 31, 2011 -CebuCity– Cebu Directories introduces a new look to their website, which features several updates to key components designed to achieve optimal performance and security.

Cebu Directories gives a facelift to its overall design to reinstate a number of features you have missed.  The Accounts and Events pages are back!  In the Accounts page, clients can input and edit any information including details of upcoming events, which will be displayed in the Events page.

Aside from bringing back these nifty components, Cebu Directories has improved the Search feature by giving it a real-time auto-complete trait.  You don’t have to break a sweat typing in an entry in the Search field since a drop-down list displays suggestions even if you are halfway through the task.

 “As software developers, Paul and I work to build a site that is as user-friendly as imaginable,” co-founder Mike Gimena said.  “That’s what sets our team apart from other online directories.”

Cebu Directories has also provided members with three options under each listing.  The Bookmark option allows you to create a list of favorite entries for you to send to yourself or share to others via the two last options – Email and SMS.  By the way, these options only appear when you hover your cursor over a particular listing.  Is this feature neat or not?  =)

These are just a few of the account features available when you sign up for Cebu Directories.  Aside from the fact that you will have access to all information on companies you desire to get acquainted with.  Plus, you get to leave a comment or two for a particular listing, whether appreciative opinions or constructive criticisms.  However, just like any other websites, improper and inappropriate words are not allowed.

Please take note that existing clients are advised to change their passwords when accessing their accounts in the new directory so as to update Cebu Directories’ system security.
