What an evening of earth shattering glamour and eye popping beauty have I witnessed at Waterfront Hotel last July 26, 2008! The second Ms. Pagcor Cebu Beauty Pageant at the Theatro Casino was flooded by spectators and those who wanted to know what Cebu’s beauty is all about. And I tell you it was like WHhooAa!!! Every moment was a chance to see beauty after beauty as the gorgeous ladies paraded with their bewitching attires in the night gown competition, their amazing skills and talents in the Introduction Number and their wits in the Question and Answer portion. The judges were tested well for the 10 pretty heartthrobs are really competitive in all levels. As the smoke cleared, Miss Marie Ann Maraon outshines all other participants as she catwalk her way to be the new Ms. PAGCOR Cebu 2008.

Check out her winning moment that made the crowd RAWWRR!…

Q: In this day at age what meaning does self-confidence have for a woman and why?

“Self-confidence for me makes a woman beautiful not only in physical appearance but also inside and out. Self-confidence for a woman makes me feel more young, vibrant and very beautiful. If you see a woman today who had self-confidence you can never gage that a person has fear in its own self.” – Miss Marie Ann Maraon

The 10 candidates who qualified for Ms. Pagcor Cebu 2008 were Medalyn Faith Tarce, Amabel Gimarino, Sheena Mae Quinanola, Phoebe Kaye Fernandez, Donnamil Tarroquim, Kirstie Joan Babor, Rebecca Ortiz, Imelda Remiticado, Marie Ann Maraon and Aiko Aliyah Actub.

The new Miss PAGCOR Cebu received 50,000 cash prize, sash, bouquet, trophy, TIMEX watch, 21″ colored TV courtesy of Asian Homes Appliances and One room accommodation at Marco Polo Plaza Hotel. Miss Marie Ann Maraon also won the The Best in Introduction Number Award, The Best in Swimsuit Award and The Best in Gown Award.

First Runner Up Miss Phoebe Kaye Fernandez took home 25,000 cash prize, sash, bouquet, trophy, TIMEX watch, 1 microwave oven courtesy of Asian Homes Appliances and One room accommodation at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.
