This is it, the day the people are waiting for! the main event: the arrival of the billiard star players! excited, everyone patiently waited to see their idol in person! with hopes to finally see their idol in person! while watching the division game, they silently wait. finally at 1:45 the wait is over, and a grand entrance! the Philippine billiard star players entered in sm trade hall. everyone, excited have finally see their idols, rushed into the hall to meet them. within minutes, the hall was completely filled. As expected, the media were all over the place. come to think of it, after all the press conferences last night, they were still holding interviews. In addition to the presence of the star players, Sun.Star boy was present. With his presence, it made me think that he will be competing with our country’s top players. When i started talking to people, i came across with this nice old lady named Carmelita. I discovered something amazing, how far this fans will go just to see their favorite player “idol”. Imagine, she came from negros, flew here in Cebu just to see these players, as country’s top billiard players? ohh yeah for them it was worth it! And im sure alot of others there whos the same, like Carmelita.

Moments later Villiar arrives to formally open the event. As usual for the opening our National Anthem. Then he talks about the event Villards. It’s about the sport Billiard that we filipinos are good at that made us recognized globally aside from boxing, which not only in these things that we excel but almost everything. We filipinos are talented! So Villar, wanted to encourage people to play this sport, and become good at it, he inspires the young generation and attracts them to billiard. and for those who love the game, he inspired them more, buy letting them meet or even compete with their billiard idol. after introduction speech, Villar started the game with an opening strike and the game begins!

round 4:41 the star players arrived, and Efren Bata Reyes came first, we hurriedly went to welcome him and had some pictures taken. Other players followed as Efren went into Sun Star’s vehicle already.

After the airport, they went directly to Sun.Star office and then to Rajah Park Hotel, for the Press Conference.

Around 7 pm the Press Conference started and the place was filled with the media people. Video Cameras and Photo Cameras are everywhere! And there are people outside the hotel wanting to go inside to see the players. We were amazed how talkative Alex the “Lion” Pagulayan is, he just lit up the whole room and entertained the media and the guest. You don’t feel the sense of competition during the whole conference, they were just having themselves a good time.
